Point Mortgage Appoints Jenny Mason as Vice President of Culture & Partnerships
Veteran mortgage, sales, and advertising leader to drive national expansion, strategic partnerships, and a people-first culture
Point Mortgage Corporation, a full-service mortgage lender licensed in 32 states, has named longtime industry leader Jenny Mason as its Vice President of Culture & Partnerships. In this role, Mason will lead national expansion, strategic partnerships, and culture initiatives that help loan officers and team members operate at their highest potential in business and in life.
Mason brings more than three decades of experience in mortgage, sales, and advertising, with a career built on connecting people, elevating brands, and driving meaningful growth across the housing industry.
She got her start in the industry by bringing Realtors and loan officers together through large-scale events across the nation—creating environments where collaboration, education, and community could thrive. From there, she went on to help mortgage companies grow by strengthening relationships, developing talent, and building programs that supported both production and culture.
In addition to her leadership roles, Mason has spent years as a mindset and performance coach, empowering professionals to uncover their purpose, elevate their confidence, and achieve greater clarity and fulfillment. Her work in this space directly fuels her passion for helping teams grow not just in business, but in life—Mason also authors a daily encouragement series called “Something Good Is Happening Today" making her uniquely suited for her role as Point Mortgage’s “Chief Encouragement Officer.”
“Jenny has built her career around turning relationships into results and results into impact,” said Peter Mendiola, President and CEO of Point Mortgage Corporation. “Her passion for people, purpose, and partnerships is exactly what we need as we continue to expand nationally. With Jenny on board, I believe we’ll grow in ways and in markets we never thought possible—while raising the bar of excellence for our customers, partners, and teams.”
Mason says her mission at Point is to help “change the dynamic of mediocrity” that can exist in the mortgage space by obsessing over excellence and relationships.
“As an industry, we can’t be satisfied with average—we have to insist on excellence at every level and make mortgages less transactional and more relational,” said Mason. “We all come to a point in our careers where we want to make a greater impact and be part of something more—where you’re known for who you are, not just what you do. Point is that place for me. From this point forward, I want to help build a resilient foundation, a culture where people are seen, heard, valued, and appreciated, where we’re helping others grow exponentially, developing a unique point of view aligning the entire organization toward a compelling future to help inspire a turning point in our industry.”
Mason will work closely with Point’s executive team, sales leaders, and branch partners across the company’s 32-state footprint to support recruiting, production growth, culture, and retention, while ensuring that every relationship—employee, partner, or consumer—reflects Point’s commitment to being “Always On Point.”
For more than 20 years, Point Mortgage Corporation (NMLS ID #231073) has built a strong reputation as an outstanding mortgage lender, serving the lending needs of real estate professionals, builders, and individual homebuyers. From its headquarters in Chula Vista, California, Point has expanded from its roots in California and Florida to a growing footprint in 32 states, offering a full suite of home loan products and a high-touch, relationship-driven experience.
